October has arrived in my neck of the woods. I spoke with friends in Oakland, Maine and the leaves are at "peak" there now. I've always been fonder of the weeks before and after "peak" times, when the leaves are mixed green-and-fall-shades or when they've turned, and have begun to fall like confetti. I think I'm going to take one shot a week here in the Bog Hollow Brambles... starting today.
